Dr. Spiegel is married with three children. He enjoys cross country single-track mountain biking, hiking with family, history, PBS' Masterpiece Mystery, Yosemite (greatest place on earth!), and debating politics.
Philosophy of Care
Many orthopedic problems can be corrected or sufficiently quieted with exercises, diligent application of self-care, and wait / see. I often recommend non-surgical care first. I also want to keep people moving: Life is motion; motion is life. I am a "Sports Doctor" who does joint replacement (as I got older, so did my patients!).
