The First Omen

The Last Rifleman

After the death of his wife recently, he decides to travel to France to attend the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy. He also wishes to pay his final respects to his best friend as well as face the past that haunts him to the present day. It also stars Ivan Morris Howe, Gaby Hoffmann, McKinley Belcher III and Roberta Colindrez in pivotal roles. The story is set in 1980s New York where Benedict’s character – puppeteer Vincent lives with his wife and nine-year-old son Edgar. Unfortunately, Edgar goes missing one day which devastates Vincent, who is unable to cope with the loss. Apart from substance abuse, Vincent finds solace in a blue coloured seven-foot-tall monster puppet named Eric that he designed with the help of his son’s drawings.

Raising Voices is a Spanish language teen crime drama series releasing on OTT this week. The mini-series is an adaptation of Miguel Sáez Carral’s novel of the same name. It is headlined by Nicole Wallace (as Alma), Clara Galle (as Greta) and Aïcha Villaverde (as Nata), who play BFFs in high school. Things are normal for the trio until 17-year-old Alma decides to report sexual abuse at her school campus. This incident upends their lives and they face difficulties at every corner. Alma, especially, faces hardships and changes in relationship dynamics that make things all very difficult for her.
