If your lid had two interlocks you will need to buy a new bowl as well item # DLC-865AGTXT1 and Large Pusher & Sleeve Assembly (Gray) Item # DLC-018BGTXT1.

The bowl top was the right one thanks to your guidance when ordering. Unfortunately, my food processor is very old (second generation from the first issue) and because of a slight design change, I now must hold the feed tube down with my hand in order for the motor to turn on. However, the food processor is still working! I have had this machine since the early 1990's and it has been wonderful. I am so happy to be able to get parts since the motor is in perfect condition.

I just washed it and put it on the bowl of the food processor! It was a simple replacement.
It was simple because eraplacementparts.com had the right cover, which was not small task as the machine is fairly old.

Atteched new work bowl and lid to old base. It was a perfect fit. After 35 years, the motor on my 35-year-old KitchenAid food processor still works fine, and I didn't want to throw it out.
